Justin Timberlake has been all over the dial lately – literally. From the Grammy Awards to Saturday Night Live to movies, he’s been all over your TV on the top channels from Cable-TV.com. After his recent marriage to longtime gal pal Jessica Biel, many people may have expected him to rest on his laurels as a newly married man for a while.
But Justin clearly had other things in mind, as he was steadily working on his latest album – 20/20 Experience. He has been all around town, including the 55th Grammy Awards, after which he raced over to the Hollywood Palladium to perform an exclusive show just for his fans – sans press. Justin has also been a very busy boy working on various collaborations and taking over MySpace.
He also performed at the BRIT Awards in London and then did a stint at Saturday Night Live performing his new singles Mirrors and kind of controversial Suit and Tie. During his SNL performance, Justin surprised everyone and responded to a diss of his friend and collaborator, Jay-Z – by none other than the infamous Kanye West. While Kanye is no stranger to controversy, some were surprised by Justin’s retort, given that he tends to stay out of those kinds of things.
It’s been seven long years since Justin’s last full length album release. Audiences can be fickle, and 7 years is a long time for a music artist – or any artist for that matter, to be out of the creative spotlight. So far, the R and B infused pop soul artistry Justin is known for appears to have returned with a vengeance. Thankfully, his inevitable maturity has not fallen short.
As a performer, Timberlake has always been phenomenal in both music and film. He also has demonstrated a penchant and for comedy, as he readily pokes fun at himself and even gets top artists like Beyonce to laugh at herself with him on SNL. To be able to do that is a surefire talent.
As soon as fans became aware that he had collaborated with and plans to tour with Jay-Z alongside Timbaland, the anticipation was evident. The tour takes place this summer and from the looks of it, Justin’s 7 year itch has helped him get his sexy back, indeed. Perhaps he never really lost it!

It’s been over a month since the release of the new Maroon 5 album, Overexposed, and critics are calling it a ‘strong record,’ and ‘their best album yet.’ Although met with mixed reviews in some music magazines and websites, the majority of reviews are leaning toward the praise side.
